Let’s rock 2025 and start it off right! Every day in January I am giving away a different ebook to my readers to celebrate reading.
All 31 days.
Yes, you could get 31 free books from me this month.
This includes books that have never been free before. It includes new books. Old books.
So if you are missing some books or even possibly a complete series in your Jean Oram collection this is the month to fill those holes.
Each day in January a different book will be free for readers on retailers. You can watch my Instagram account or Facebook page to see which book is free that day as I won’t be emailing you every day. (You don’t need an account to view my posts on either social media platform.)
On my social media there will be an image like the one above showing you which book is free that day.
Then pop over to your retailer of choice and get your free book!
Free book for January 1: The Huckleberry Bookshop:
Athena and Mullens butt heads at work, but what happens when they get stuck on a project together. Can they find their way to friendship…or more?
A bookish dietician & hockey player battle at work–& then he slides onto the cover of her cookbook!
Caveats:
I have more than 31 published books so not every book will be free over the month. As well, I will not be posting my list in advance. It’s up to you to check back and see which book is free. If you miss a day, you miss it.
Timing: I’ve scheduled the books to go free for one full day, but each retailer uses a different time zone (Typically Eastern or Pacific.) for when their day ‘clicks over’ to the next one. This is going to make it especially tricky for my Australian and New Zealander readers. I apologize in advance for any tricking timing. I have scheduled my social media posts for early as I can to help you out.
You can also watch my author pages to see what’s currently free on your store of choice: Google Play | Barnes and Noble | Kobo Books | Apple Books.
A sad note for my Amazon readers. Unfortunately, I will not be able to provide free books on Amazon for this promotion. Because this is a rolling promotion where a different book is free for only a 24-hour period, and Amazon doesn’t allow access to their ebook price scheduling tool unless you publish exclusively to them (which then means you can’t sell your ebook anywhere else), it means I can’t offer a free book for just one day. You may have noticed when I do offer a free book it is for many days at a time. This is because I have to email Amazon with a long list of data proving the book is already free on other stores. Then they take several days to look into it, then they usually set the price to free as requested. When I want the book to go back to paid, I then have to reverse that process. That takes several more days as well as several emails, and can sometimes be as long as a week or more. So, basically, if I tried to add in Amazon for this celebration of reading, I’d likely have half a dozen books free at once, and probably none of them on the actual day I’d promised my readers. (Each of the retailers below has a free downloadable app if you want to try out their apps for this celebration.)
