This week’s most awesome new release from Indigo Bay

Book 3: Sweet Sunrise by Kay Correll

$2.99 → US UK CA AU

Sometimes life has a way of teaching lessons whether you’re ready to learn them or not…

The last place on earth Will Layton wants to be is Indigo Bay, but his younger sister needs him and he’s never been able to say no to her. But she left out a few details… like their father staying with her and the girl who dumped him years ago is living right next door.

The last person Dr. Ashley Harden thought she’d see in Indigo Bay is Will Layton, but he’s back in town and just as irresistible as when they were young. Seeing Will again is a complication that isn’t on her carefully mapped out life plan.

In spite of Ashley’s best intentions, she starts falling for Will again, but nothing has changed. She’s still focused on getting the townspeople to accept her and see her as more than the girl from the wrong side of town, while Will is determined to guard his heart at any cost.

Not the easiest road to true love… especially when secrets from the past are revealed and history threatens to repeat itself.

Hi Jean! I love small town romances because they are so sweet! Thank you

    1. They are, aren’t they? You are most welcome. Good luck in the giveaway.

  2. I like small town romances because everyone in a small town knows everyone else and it adds to the drama of the story.

    1. They totally do, don’t they? I love it when they are able to interfere a little bit.

Everyone knows each other and it makes them more personable.

    1. Thank you Tammy! ❤️

  5. Donna Wolz

I love small town romances because typically the characters are everyday people who lead normal lives. Not billionaires, rock stars, sports stars… People I could actually know.

    1. You don’t know many billionaires? No rock stars for neighbors? LOL. Me neither.

  6. Amanda Cunningham

I love how sweet they are and that everyone knows everyone. It’s the opposite of the big city i’m in

    1. Big cities are totally different, aren’t they Amanda?

  7. I love small town romances because they are sweet, can relate to real life 🙂

      1. Judy Tullich

I love small town romances where every one knows everyone and that usually means second chance romances. I love second chance romances!

        1. Oh yes! Those are lovely when the characters get a do-over! (Have you read Kay Correl’s Sweet Sunrise? It’s this week’s Indigo Bay release. And actually…now that I think about it, The Surprise Wedding is a second chances romance too! Tee hee. I forgot about my own recent release.)

  14. lori byrd

I love small town romances because it seems like everyone knows your business and puts in their 2 cents of advice. Rumors start and you never know where it will take you.

    1. Yes on the rumors! Apparently I got engaged right after high school. I told the guy who congratulated me to start spreading the rumour that I’d run off to a nunery. Ha! (I don’t think he ever did. He’d mistaken me for a friend of mine.)

  15. galehr

I think I like everyone else stickin’ their nose in! Always makes for some fun situations.

    1. It sure does! We (the six of us authors) have had a lot of fun writing the character Lucille in our Indigo Bay series. She is so desperate to get her niece hooked up we might have to write a little story for her!

  16. Francina

I like them because it seems more real and possible.

    1. True, it does, doesn’t it?

  17. Linda Herold

Hi! I enjoy reading about small town romances because I have always lived in small CA towns!

    1. Perfect! (Me too)

  18. taswmom

I love the feel of small town romances. How you can’t seem to do much with everyone noticing, but you also can’t seem to do much without everyone caring.

    1. Well said. I agree.

  19. Geena Marquez

I love small town romances!!!❤️ I don’t know what it is about them, but they’re my favorite. I think there’s more romance. Everybody knows each other and usually the couple knew each other growing up. Growing up together in a small town is what really tugs at my heartstrings ?

    1. Oh, you’ll like Ethan and Lily in A Pinch of Commitment then!

  20. Small town romances seem more realistic to me. I love them. Thanks, Jean!

    1. You’re welcome!

  21. Robin in NC

I enjoy reading about small town romance because everybody knows everybody & there’s always those old busy bodies that you love to put one over on them from time to time, so they’re usually kind of funny & have happy endings! ? Thanks!

    1. The busy bodies! Boy, can they cause issues, eh?

  22. Leona

    Sounds interesting

  23. Sneha

    Hey there!
Well right now I’m trying to soak in all the remaining vibes of the weekend lol!! You know it was ‘Champagne and Lemon Drops’ that introduced me to the world of romance novels and there’s been no turning back ever since then. I simply love small town love stories.
Thanks a lot and Good luck! Take Care!!

    1. Sneha, that is way too cool that Champagne and Lemon Drops introduced you to romance novels. I love it!

  24. Sneha

    Heyy!!
I can’t seem to pinpoint the exact reason why I’m soooo much into small town romances. Maybe it’s the vibrant setting or the presence of a strong community or a really adorable couple. Or maybe simply because they are soooo cute!!! Whatever the reason be, these love stories are literally my goals in real life lol!!

    1. 🙂 Those are all great reasons to enjoy small town romances.
